KARACHI: Police have decided to send CCTV footage of a shooting that took place on the city’s main thoroughfare Shara-i-Faisal, killing three people including two senior clerics of a seminary, to Britain for identification of assassins.
Sources said that Special Brach of the police had contacted experts in London’s Investigation Department to seek their help in identifying the killers through modern technology.
The sources said that the process might take 15 to 20 days. Unknown gunmen on January 31 killed clerics belonging to Jamia Binori Town in broad day light and easily managed to flee.
