Sindh assembly hastily adjourned averting MQM's protests
KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) strongly protested outside Sindh Assembly, which was suddenly adjourned until February 27 with an ulterior motive to deprive MQM raising burning issue relating to the setting up of Hyderabad University on Monday here, Geo News reported.

Treasury sources said that the assembly session was adjourned for lack of quorum.

MQM’s Faisal Sabzwari on this occasion strongly protesting said that the session was hastily adjourned making a mockery of the Sindh Assembly.

He further said that the Bill for setting up of six universities were approved by Sindh Assembly with the full support of MQM, while the Hyderabad University issue being evaded for one reason or the other. He said that by adjourning the session with ulterior motive, parliamentary conventions being torn into shreds.
