Shikarpur: Spiritual leader Syed Hajan Shah laid to rest

SHIKARPUR: The burial of Syed Hajan Shah, the custodian of Ghazi Ghulam Shah shrine was performed in Maari village near Shikarpur here on Tuesday morning.

Syed Hajan Shah was seriously injured together with 27 others in a bomb blast at the shrine some nine days ago. He had been shifted to a hospital in Karachi where he breathed his last Monday morning.

The body was brought from Karachi to Marri Monday night.

The funeral prayer was offered in the compound of Marri shrine on Tuesday morning attended by thousands of people. The deceased was buried inside the shrine.

On this occasion, a shutterdown strike was observed in Shikarpur and other towns in the district.
