KARACHI: The larger bench constituted by the Supreme Court to hear the Karachi law and order case will resume its hearing on Friday.
The report pertaining to the Abbas Town bombing will be presented by the Rangers and the court has also summoned the federal government, Interior Secretary and intelligence agencies.
The bench would be comprised of Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, Justice Jawwad S Khawaja, Justice Khilji Arif, Justice Amir Hani Muslim and Justice Ejaz Afzal.
At least 49 people were killed and over 150 injured in the bombing at Abbas Town on March 3.
It may be noted here that the Sindh Government had removed IG Sindh Fayyaz Laghari and DIG East Aleem Jafri on the court orders, notifying that their services had been returned to the federal government.
