150 suspects arrested over Jospeh Colony incident

LAHORE: Punjab Police have arrested 150 suspects involved in Joseph Colony incident while more raids are being conducted to nab further accused, sources said.

Following the registration of the case regarding burning of homes in Joseph Colony, eight teams of police are conducting raids.

According to the sources, 150 alleged insurgents involved in the tragedy have been arrested with the help of video footages and pictures of the incident displayed in the media.

The sources said that the accused would be presented before the media after identification of the accused involved in the incident.

On Saturday, A frenzied mob went on rampage, torching over 175 houses, shops and church in Joseph Colony located in Lahore’s Badami Bagh area.
