LAHORE: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) Chief, Maulana Fazlur Rehman Friday said that his party could not make an alliance with the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) and added that the door for talks with the Pakistan Muslim League-N was still open, Geo News reported.
Talking to media at the Lahore airport, Fazlur Rehman said that he would not like to make the caretaker governments controversial, it took some time in naming the PM and CMs and it would take sometime for the making of cabinets.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman said he wanted that the establishment should remain away from the electoral process, but its interference unfolds afterwards. He said that Articles 62, 63 were Election Commission or courts’ issue and it should be left to them to resolve.
JUI-F chief said that he wanted seat adjustment with PML-N and he had telephonic contact with Shahbaz Sharif.
He said that JUI-F’s public rally would be greatest than the expectations.
