Petroleum prices see a modest downward revision
ISLAMABAD: The Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority has announced a downward revision in petroleum products prices, Geo News reported.

The new prices take effect from 12:00 AM April 1, 2013.

According to the notification issued, OGRA has slashed the petrol price by an insignificant Rs0.77/litre bringing the new price of the commodity down at Rs102.30/litre.

The new revision also brings relief for the commercial consumers as diesel has also been made cheaper by Rs0.62/litre. Now the heavy duty fuel will be sold at a reduced price of Rs108.59/litre.

However, the per litre price of light diesel oil was jacked down by Rs1.50. Henceforth, the consumers would have to pay Rs93.28 for a litre of it.

The kerosene oil, on the other hand, will be retailed at Rs98.26 per litre after a teensy-weensy decrease of Rs1.64.
