Election Commission receives 17,081 nomination papers
ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has received 17,081 nomination papers for the general seats of both national and provincial assemblies so far while the initial screening of 10,971 papers have been completed Wednesday, Geo News reported.

According to the ECP sources, the total number of received nomination papers is now 17,081 out of which 10,971 sets have been scrutinized.

The sources further told that printing of electoral rolls along with the picture will start from Monday while the printing of lists without photographs has been completed.

However, the decision over the printing of electoral rolls for Karachi is still pending which is likely to be announced by the ECP today.
