Rangers arrest several suspects in targeted operation

KARACHI: Rangers arrested several suspects and recovered arms during targeted operation in Sohrab Goth and Al-Asif Square in the wee hours of Friday that is still continuing, Geo News reported.

Heavy contingent of para-military force including lady personnel and commandos took part in the operation. Sources told that at least 1200 personnel are taking part in the operation.

Sources said Rangers detained several suspects including activists of banned outfits and recovered arms. The suspects are being interrogated.

Security forces raided several flats, hotels, guesthouses and several houses to hunt suspected persons.

Rangers were also deployed on the rooftop of several building during the operation.
