Karachi: Funeral prayer of slain ANP candidate, son offered

KARACHI: The Namaz-e-Janaza (funeral prayer) of Awami National Party (ANP) election candidate, Sadiq Zaman Khattak and his son was offered here on Friday.

Local leaders of ANP, relatives and friends attended the funeral prayer held outside PIA Cargo Terminal.

The bodies of the deceased father and son were later flown to their native town, Nowshera, for burial.

The deceased ANP candidate was contesting in NA-254. He was shot dead along with his 6-year-old son Amel in Bilal Colony, Korangi by
some unknown gunmen when he was returning home after offering Juma (Friday) prayers.
