KARACHI: Member of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Coordination Committee Saleem Shahzad on Tuesday asked Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to impose ban on Jamat-e-Islami (JI) for allegedly printing of 90,000 fake ballot papers.
According to a statement issued here, the MQM leader Saleem Shahzad leveled allegation against the religious party that the recovered fake ballot papers from workers of the JI is the evidence that it had made a plan to rig elections.
He urged the ECP to take immediate notice on the issue and take action against those responsible in printing the fake ballot papers.
Shahzad asked the heads, workers and supporters of political and religious parties to boycott the 'so-called' religious party.
