Saad invites me to join PML-N, says Jamshed Dasti

MUZAFFARGARH: An independent candidate Jamshed Dasti, who bagged NA-177 and 178 as per unofficial results, said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has invited him to join the party.

Talking to Geo news at his residence, Jamshed Dasti said that Saad Rafiq congratulated him on winning the seats via telephone and invited him to join the PML-N.

He said that he has not yet taken any decision and would come to the conclusion after consulting his supporters and friends.

According to unofficial results, Dasti secured 76,562 votes against Nawabzada Nasarullah’s son Nawabzada Mansoor in NA-177 and defeated former foreign minister Hina Rabbani Khari’s father Noor Rabbani with 79,198 votes from NA-178 constituency.
