Double murder accused escapes from police custody in Lahore

LAHORE: An accused facing charges of double murder escaped from police study at a local hospital on Saturday.

Sources said that some unknown armed men got the accused released at gunpoint. Two policemen deputed at the Meo Hospital have been arrested after escape.

Police said that Tahir Mehmood was involved in the killing of two men in Samanabad area of the city.
