KARACHI: Sindh Rangers has submitted a request with Sindh High Court (SHC) seeking to prevent Sindh government’s alleged interference in Dr Asim Hussain’s case.
According to sources, Superintendent Rangers, Inayatullah Durrani filed the requested with the SHC.
The application states that the Sindh government is trying to interfere and exert its influence in Dr Asim Hussain’s case.
It said a charge-sheet had been prepared in the light of statements of the witnesses but then the investigation officer was changed. The public prosecutor is also being replaced for telling the truth, it added.
The application said the above actions by the Sindh government are tantamount to providing protection to those involved in corruption, plunder and terrorism.
