According to details, four unidentified armed men, riding on two motorcycles opened fire at Lasbela Chowk, injuring three people. The injured were being rushed to hospital, however, they succumbed to the wounds in ambulance.
Meanwhile, Awami National Party (ANP) spokesman has claimed that among the dead two were their party office-bearers.
Panic gripped the area after the incident. Shops were closed and vehicular traffic was suspended.
