Karachi: Kidnapped SBP Joint Director rescued

KARACHI: Citizens-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC), Anti Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) and police carried out joint operation, recovering kidnapped Joint Director of State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).

According to CPLC Chief Ahmed Chinoy, three kidnapers were killed while a policeman also sustained injuries in the operation.

It is pertinent to mention here that Allaudin Achakzai, Joint Director of SBP was kidnapped on June 5 from Maripur area.
