ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Pervez Rasheed Wednesday said that the government sought opposition leader, Khurshid Shah, satisfaction over the appointment of Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Geo News reported.
Talking to media men in Parliament House, Rasheed claimed that in pursuit of a meritorious appointment the federal government even recommended a person for the slot who had sentenced Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif back in the day.
He further said that the government held Shah's viewpoint in high esteem, adding consultation with regard to this important appointment would continue until a consensus was reached.
Rasheed said that opposition leader’s satisfaction was vital to the government for working together in the broader interest of the country.
