Army to be deployed at sensitive polling stations during by-election

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has decided to deploy army in and outside sensitive polling stations during by-election.

Sources said on Thursday that the ECP would formally contact the army soon in this regard.

The electoral body has directed returning officers to pinpoint sensitive and most sensitive polling stations.
