JHAL MAGSI: Several villages in district Jhal Magsi of Balochistan are facing water and food scarcity after cut off from rest of the province due to rain and floods, Geo News reported.
Heavy rains hit Jhal Magsi and its adjacent areas on Friday. The rain and flood water entered tehsil Gandhawa and Kotra inundating Khari, Patri, Qazi Ismail and other areas.
Due to stagnant rain and flood waters, the roads that link Jhal Magsi and Gadhawa with rest of the province have been cut off as a result relief and rescue teams have yet to arrive to help the affected people.
People are facing food and potable water shortage. Cut in power supply have added the miseries of masses.
