Six trapped under debris after roofs collapse as rain hits Lahore

LAHORE: At least six people were trapped under debris as roofs of houses collapsed in different areas during the torrential rain that has been lashing the city since early morning, Geo News reported on Wednesday.

Rainwater submerged low-lying areas including Mughalpura, Dharampura, Do Moria Bridg, Haji Camp, Empress Road, Lakshmi Chowk, Qaddhafi Stadium, disrupting traffic flow.

Weather turned pleasant as mercury plunged after heavy rain in the metropolis.
