ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly on Thursday adopted a resolution against use of force in Egypt.
The resolution was tabled by Jamat-e-Islami member Taeiqullah Khan, expressing sympathy with the people of Egypt.
The house also announced support for the people of Egypt, demanding restoration of democracy as per aspirations of the people.
Hundreds of people have been killed in a deadly crackdown against the supporters of Egypt’s deposed president Mohammad Morsi during the last few days.
