India's wanton shelling injures two Pakistani civilians in Nakial
ISLAMABAD: Indian army’s wanton cross-border shelling/firing on a Pakistani village in Nakial sector near Kotli district of Azad Jammu & Kashmir has left two civilians including a girl injured, Geo News reported.

According to official reports Pakistani border security forces retaliating with full force gave a befitting reply to the occupational Indian forces deployed on the Line of Control (LoC)in Indian Held Kashmir.

Sources said one of the shells fired by Indian artillery from across the international border landed on a house in Lanjot village.

"Most of the occupants remained unhurt in the attack except for an elderly man, Mohammad Sharif and a young girl, Iram Tariq, who sustained injuries after the shell blew a hole in a wall of their house, they added.

This is the latest in a series of recent cross-border skirmishes between the two neighbours.

Tensions have recently flared up in the heavily militarized Kashmir valley with both sides accusing each other of cross-border firings.

It must be mentioned that India's Ministry of External Affairs, in a statement issued, has said that tension on LoC was a bilateral matter between the two countries and not an international one.
