Mamnoon says most heinous crimes occur in Sindh, Karachi

KARACHI: Mamnoon Hussain, the President-elect of Pakistan, Wednesday said that most heinous crimes take place in Sindh, particularly in its port city, Karachi.

Addressing a gathering at a dinner reception here at Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), Mamnoon Hussain ruled out the progress of country’s economy without fixing the order in Karachi.

He exhorted the traders to press the Sindh government for maintaining peace in the economic hub of the country. “The Federal Minister for Interior is currently planning for putting a check on crimes,” he added.

The President-elect observed that there was a lack of coordination between the law enforcing institutions.
