KARACHI: The Sindh Government Friday gave approval for setting up five more Anti-Terrorism Courts (ATC) in the province in light of the Supreme Court orders.
The Sindh Home Department has written a letter to the Chief Justice Sindh High Court (SHC), seeking his proposals for judges names to be appointed in the courts.
The budget and places have also been allocated for the ATCs. According to a report, Rs4.6 million have been allocated for each ATC. The addition of five new courts would raise the number of ATCs to 10.
