Lahore young man caught for staging drama of his own abduction

LAHORE: When kidnapping for ransom has become a routine in the country, a young man staged drama of his own abduction for extorting ransom from his own family, was finally nabbed by the police here, Geo News reported.

Sources said that this weird incident happened in a Gulbarg Town family where Haroon Ijaz a spoiled child twice failed in matriculation examinations faked his own abduction by staying away from his family and got them telephoned for payment of ransom for his release.

Police on report from his family swiftly acting traced the call and caught hold of the accused feigning abducted, who finding no excuse started begging for pardon.
