LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain Monday paid great tributes to slain leader of the party Dr. Imran Farooq and hoped that sacrifices of the party leaders and workers will bring about a change and the crusade against injustices will be successful.
He expressed these views on the occasion of Dr. Imran Farooq's death anniversary in a statement.
He said that in the crusade against injustices thousands of workers have laid down their lives and refused to submit to the forces of evils.
“In our struggle against the injustices we lost senior activist Dr. Imran Farooq. His martyrdom is a great bereavement. The strong sense of this bereavement will be always in our hearts. His sacrifices will always be remembered.”
Mr. Hussain said that tyranny and oppression has not shaken our resolve.
“We will not hesitate to lay down our lives for the noble mission and objectives for which our martyrs have rendered great sacrifices.”
