KARACHI: Karachi police claimed to have arrested 14 accused during actions in various areas in the metropolis, Geo News reported.
ASP Ibadat Nisar said police arrested two accused after encounter at Khayaban-e-Tanzim in DHA area.
He said the accused were involved in more than 20 street crimes and murder cases. Police also recovered arms from their police.
DSP Tariq Mughal said four accused, involved in kidnapping, were arrested during targeted operation in Mehmoodabad area.
In separate action, police arrested six fugitive and one wanted accused from Mehmoodabad area.
Meanwhile, SP Gulshan-e-Iqbal Muqadas Haider said a murder accused was held in Gulistan-e-Johar Block-11 after encounter.
