Sherpao says no progress on talks with Taliban

PESHAWAR: Qaumi Watan Party chief Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao said though the all parties conference decided to hold talks with the Taliban, procedure on how to hold negotiations was yet to be decided.

He was talking to media at a ceremony on Sunday, he sad that meaningful and result oriented dialogues were significant for restoring peace but the government had made no progress in this regard,

Sherpao further said that Pakistan and Afghanistan would have to work jointly for regional peace,

He demanded of the federal government to empower Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to determine its share of profit on electricity and other resources. He also called for an increase in the net profit on electricity.
