Mumtaz Jakhrani takes oath as provincial minister

KARACHI: Mir Mumtaz Hussain Jakhrani was administered oath as the provincial minister here on Monday.

The oath-taking ceremony to this effect was held at the Governor House here.

Jakhrani has been inducted in the provincial cabinet on the advice of Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, says a Governor House statement here on Monday evening.

Sindh Governor, Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan, administered the oath at a simple but impressive ceremony held at the Governor House here.

Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, was also present on the occasion.

The proceedings were conducted by the Chief Secretary Sindh, Muhammad Ejaz Chaudhry.

The ceremony was also attended by provincial ministers Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, Syed Owais Muzaffar, Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani, Sharjeel Inam Memon, Mukesh Kumar Chawla, Gayan Chand Israni, Rubina Sadiq Qaimkhani, Nizam Khan Shoro, General Secretary of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Sindh, Taj Haider, members of the provincial assembly of Sindh and high officials.
