PASRUR: In a recent incident, three persons sustained injuries in Charwah sector when Indian troops opened fire and bombed at the working boundary in Charwah sector, Geo News reported Friday.
According to the sources, as many as six houses were completely destroyed due to the shelling while several domestic animals were also killed.
A spokesperson for the ISPR told on Thursday that the Indian troops have intensified violations and carried out unprovoked firing on the working boundary in Pukhlian, Chaprar, Harpal and Charwah Sectors near Sialkot and targeted civil populated areas.
The Indian Border Security Force (BSF) also targeted 27 Pakistani posts in the same area in the last two days and fired almost four thousand mortar shells and 59,000 rounds of machine guns.
Pakistani troops had effectively responded to the Indian firing. During the last two weeks, due to Indian shelling two civilians and a Rangers soldier embraced Shahadat and 26 civilians were injured on the working boundary and LoC.
