PESHAWAR: Sikandar Sherpao, a leader of the Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) and senior Khyber Pakhtunkhwa minister, has resigned from his post after the provincial government sacked two of his party ministers.
A meeting of the Aftab Sherpao-led party has also been convened to review the situation, which emerged after Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) sacked two of its ministers and later Imran Khan directed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister Pervez Khattak to end alliance with the QWP.
