PM Nawaz Sharif arrives in Karachi

KARACHI: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif arrived in Karachi on Tuesday where he was received by the Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad and Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Geo News reported.

PM Nawaz will lay foundation stone of 2117 megawatt civil nuclear project being built with Chinese cooperation and is likely to start power generation by 2019.

The premier will also meet the representatives of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industries while he will also review the ongoing targeted operation in the metropolis.

Provincial authorities and law enforcement agencies are expected to brief the premier on the third phase of the targeted operation.
