Karachi situation: KU, NED postpone exams

KARACHI: After University of Karachi, NED engineering university has also postponed its exams scheduled for today (Wednesday), Geo News reported.

According to a communiqué issued from the office of Deputy Registrar NED, all the papers scheduled for today (Wednesday) had been postponed.

Meanwhile, Dawood university of engineering and technology will also remain closed on Wednesday (today).

Earlier, University of Karachi (KU) and federal Urdu varsity had postponed all the scheduled exams for today due to tense situation in the metropolis.

The new dates for the exams will be announced later.

Eleven people lost their lives and several others were injured, as the provincial capital witnessed gruesome incidents of violence one after another on Tuesday.
