KARACHI: Following Tuesday's renewed violence and firing in which 12 people including a Majlis-e Wahdat-e Muslimeen (MWM) leader and members of Tableeghi Jamaat were killed, parts of the city remained tense on Wednesday morning, Geo News reported.
Transport in the affected areas was less than normal, while the University scheduled examinations were postponed . The main artery of the city M.A. Jinnah Road was also partially closed by placing containers.
On the other hand, MWM has announced observing three-day mourning and protest demonstration to be staged on Wednesday.
