Key accused of Lyari gang war killed in encounter

KARACHI: A key accused of Lyari gang war Hafeez Dada was killed in an alleged encounter with the police and the Rangers in Sajan Goth area of Saeedabad in the wee hours of Sunday.

Talking to Geo news, SP Baldia Town Malik Ehsaan said that the police and the Ranges conducted a joint raid in Sajan Goth area where gun battle took place with the accused of Lyari gang war, resultantly Hafeez Dada got killed.

He said that two associates of the Dada managed to flee.

Ehsaan said that Hafeez Dada was a key character of Lyari gang war who was an expert in firing Awan rocket.

The Rangers claimed that the accused had killed their DSR Haneef.
