LAHORE: Heavy fog continued to blanket Lahore and its adjoining areas on Sunday, suspending air traffic.
The visibility range is about 20 to 50 meter in the city while the area surrounding Allama Iqbal Airport witnessed zero visibility.
The domestic and international flights have been suspended as a result of thick fog. Eight flights suffered delay while a Lahore-bound flight of a private airline has been returned to Dubai.
Meanwhile, a motorbike collided with a truck of Solid Waste Management on Jail Road, killing a man and injuring two others.
Met office said that this is a second phase of the fog which would continue for the next three to four days.
