Cop shot dead in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: Unknown assailants gunned down a policeman at Hashtnagri Jhanda Bazaar on Sunday here, Geo News reported.

Police sources add, that constable Ghulam Mohammad was performing his routine duty, when unidentified persons opened fire severely injuring him; he later succumbed to his injuries.

Police adds, that investigation into the incident has begun.
