ISLAMABAD: Yousuf Shah, coordinator of Taliban committee, said on Monday that they had asked the government committee to arrange their meeting with the Chief of the Army Staff General Raheel Sharif and Director General Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) General Zaheerul Islam.
He said that the Taliban committee was expected to meet government’s committee within the next two days.
Shah said that the committee members had initially discussed with the Taliban about the modus operandi of the talks.
He said that the Taliban had sent a response to the five demands raised by the government committee.
