KARACHI: Two accused were killed in a joint operation carried out by the police and the Rangers on Superhighway near godown of rice.
The Rangers spokesman claimed the suspects’ appearance was like terrorists of banned Tehreek e Taliban Pakistan, from whom one hand grenade and 2 Kalashnikovs were also recovered.
The spokesman said that the Rangers officer was targeted with firing on Superhighway near Rice godown the other day.
The Rangers personnel conducted raids in the area where exchange of fire took place; resultantly, two accused were killed in alleged encounter, he added.
