PESHAWAR: A suicide bomber, who blew himself up near Iranian Consulate on Monday, had reached the site in an explosive-laden vehicle, initial investigation report said.
According to the report, the bomber parked white Alto car next to the wall of the Iranian Consul General’s residence, which had to be exploded after five to ten minutes, but due to some technical glitches it failed to blast.
The report stated the explosives were planted in the vehicle through modern system.
The law enforcement agencies have gathered the body parts of the suicide bombers which suggest that he was 15 to 17 years of age, the report added.
