ISLAMABAD: Inspector General Police (IGP) Islamabad Sikandar Hayat has said that the assailants used Kalashnikovs and hand grenades in the attack on a court here on Monday.
Talking to media here Tuesday, the IGP Sikandar Hayat said according to initial investigation, there were only two attackers who launched the attack on the local court also known as the F-8 Kacheri.
He said half of the victims of the attack died from bullet wounds while the others from the bomb attack.
Sikandar Hayat asserted that a boundary wall with four entry points will be erected around the F-8 Kachehri, adding four walk-through gates and CCTV cameras would also be installed.
