ISLAMABAD: Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has convened a meeting of coordination committees representing the government and the Taliban.
Sources said that in what appeared to a progress in peace talks both the committees will meet today. They said, the meeting which is result of Nisar’s efforts, was expected to discuss time and venue for formal talks.
Earlier, the government committee had suggested Bannu Airport as a place for the talks while the panel representing the militants proposed a venue in North Waziristan.
