KARACHI: Pakistan has received the third tranche of loan from the International Monitory Fund (IMF) under Extended Fund Facility (EFF), said a spokesman for the State Bank of Pakistan on Thursday.
According to the spokesman, 550 million dollars have been received from the IMF.
The 3rd tranche was released by the IMF after its executive board completed the second review of Pakistan’s economic performance under a three-year programme.
The IMF’s 36-month 6.78 billion dollar for Pakistan was approved under EFF by the executive board on September 4, 2013.
