Won’t be a party to any such protest that hurts democracy: JI Amir

PESHAWAR: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Amir, Sirajul Huque Saturday said that his party would not become a part of any such protest, which could hurt democracy and added that it was the time to serve, not indulge in politics, Geo News reported.

Talking to media at the Markaz Al-Islami here, JI Amir stressed on letting the democracy work, as democracy was the best means of accountability. He said we have made the federal government and Taliban to sit on the table and added if the talks fail, it would be started again.
