Dr Shaista seeks forgiveness for inadvertent mistake

KARACHI: The host of famous morning show “Utho Jago Pakistan”, Dr Shaista Lodhi has apologized over the inadvertent mistake in Wednesday’s program that caused an uproar in various sections of the society, Geo News reported on Thursday.

The remorseful host said that she along with the entire team feels sorry and tenders an apology for the circumstances that were triggered inadvertently due to the content of the program broadcast yesterday.

Dr Shaista said that she seeks forgiveness from the Almighty Allah over an unintended gaffe that hurt the sentiments of the people.

Amir Liquat Hussain has said that he seeks forgiveness at Uhad for the inadvertent mistake.

Geo management has suspended team of morning show “Utho Jago Pakistan” and ordered an inquiry into the matter.
