No loadshedding during Sehr, Iftar: Abid Sher Ali
FAISALABAD: Minister of State for Water and Power, Abid Sher Ali Saturday said the people will not have to go through the ordeal of power outages at Sehr and Iftar during the holy month of Ramazan.

At an open Kutchery here, the Minister of State not only slammed his political opponents but also the administration of K-Electric (previously KESC).

He said he has sought a report from K-Electric over the power crisis in Karachi. “When K-Electric is being supplied its share of 650 MW of electricity then no dereliction in service delivery will be tolerated,” he warned.

Taking a dig at his political rivals, Abid Sher Ali said PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s slogan of change has fizzled out and asked Shaikh Rashid as to whose attention he was trying attract by holding a public rally in Rawalpindi.

The Minister of State also accused Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) leader Tahirul Qadri of engaging in the illegal activity of money laundering. “Tahirul Qadri doesn’t recognize the state or its constitution,” he added, vowing to initiate action against the ‘foreign national’ under the law.
