Rangers claim target killer, extortionist arrests, deny Sattar's house raid

KARACHI: Rangers arrested target killer Shamshad and extortionist Ahmad Yasir in a targeted operation at PIB Colony on Monday and recovered weapons from them, said the spokesman of the Rangers here.

The spokesman of the Rangers denying any raid at Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Farooq Sattar’s residence claimed that the operation was in fact conducted two streets away from Farooq Sattar’s house and contradictory rumours in this regard were to save the accused and mislead the people.

While MQM leader Farooq Sattar said that the Rangers raiding his house arrested three persons including a party worker and took away his licensed 9MM pistol.
