Three personnel injured as PAT workers clash with police

LAHORE: Three police personnel were injured in a clash with Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) workers in Model Town in the wee hours of Friday, Geo News reported.

Police said PAT workers tortured them after they made efforts to stop them.

Meanwhile, speaking at the residence of Dr Tahirul Qadri, Awami Tehreek President Raheeq Abbasi asked PAT workers to move forward without giving consideration to police. He said besiege was unconstitutional and unlawful, therefore, workers defy them and reach for Youm-e-Shuhada.

He further asked workers to come in a caravan of 20, 20 buses. He said Punjab government would be responsible of the situation if police stop them.
