London Plan failed miserably: PM Nawaz Sharif

LONDON: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said on Wednesday that the ‘London Plan’ in reference to the meeting between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chief Tahirul Qadri had failed miserably.



Speaking to the media here, the prime minister said the entire nation was aware of what had become of the ‘London Plan.’ He added that Pakistan’s journey towards development and prosperity would continue.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will travel from London to New York where he will attend the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). He is expected to address the UNGA on September 27.
