Altaf asks army what it expects MQM to do
KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief, Altaf Hussain Saturday asked the ‘military establishment’ as to what course of action it expects his party to take.

Addressing the general workers meeting here at Laal Qila Ground via telephone, Altaf Hussain regretted that his attempts to bring organizational changes leads to events that prevent expulsion of black sheep from the party.

“I am asking the colleagues to take control and make decisions themselves by implementing minus-Altaf formula,” he continued.

He said the Mohajirs who migrated from India to Pakistan were subjected to a biased treatment. “We were even called the off-springs of Indira and Rajiv Gandhi during the raids in Karachi.”

Altaf Hussain said that two parties have been staging sit-ins in Islamabad for the past 50 days while Pakistan Television building was stormed and ransacked but no action was seen against them.

“When our members protested against army operation, they were fired upon,” he complained, asking how MQM would have been treated had it broken into PTV.
